UN ASTEROIDE ALGO MAYOR QUE EL DE TUNGUSKA PASARÁ A MENOR DISTANCIA QUE LA LUNA EL 9 DE SETIEMBRE El asteroide 2018 RC, descubierto desde el observatorio(T08) ATLAS-MLO, Mauna Loa (N19.535770 W155.576400) en US/Hawaii., el pasado día 3 de setiembre. Con un tamaño algo superior al de Tunguska (entre 40 y 70 metros), pasará por el perigeo (distancia mínima a La Tierra) el 2018 Sep 9.504 +/- 0.005 TT = 12h.05m.46s. Se aproximará a una distancia de 224570.048 +/- 243 Kilómetros, inferior a la de la Luna.
