P/2007 T2,  EL PEQUEO COMETA QUE VINO DEL FRIO

 

Muestra de la extremada influencia de Jpiter en la dinmica de los cometas y asteroides la tenemos con P/2007 T2.

El pequeo cometa hasta setiembre de 2004 giraba alrededor del Sol en una fra rbita poco excntrica, cuyo perihelio

era exterior al cinturn de asteroides, q > 3.7 U.A., pero durante setiembre y octubre de 2004 se aproxim al mayor de los planetas, a menos de 0.02 U.A  (3 millones de Km.), el 29 de setiembre de 2004. El tirn gravitatorio lo ha disparado hasta cerca de la rbita de Venus, recibiendo 28 veces ms radiacin durante el nuevo y caluroso perihelio.  An as, el astro ha brillado poco.  Si no ha estado antes en las mismas circunstancias, es previsible que el cometa sea realmente pequeo y de vida muy efmera en las actuales condiciones
