Observadores: S. Larson, E. Beshore, E. Christensen, R. Hill, S. Howard, D. McLean.
Medidas astrométricas de : Christensen., con el telescopio 0.68 m Schmidt + CCD.
 
El astro había sido detectado ya casi un mes antes desde:
(691) Steward Observatory, Kitt Peak-Spacewatch (N31.9580 W111.5990).,
pasó a sólo 468370 kilómetros del centro de la Tierra el día 2009 Mar 20.176017 TT.
El asteroide es de tipo Apolo y tiene un diámetro probablemente superior a 100 metros.
Durante su aproximación sobre el cielo boreal alcanzó una magnitud de 12.9.
